MES esame iš Vilniaus ir viskas ką MES čia rašome iš dalies yra tai, kaip MUS šitas, taip vadinamas Vilnius, išaugino, subrandino. Vilnius yra miestas tarsi iš filmo, tik gaila, kad TAS filmas, po kurio užsieniečiai čia atvykę aikčiotų „kaip iš filmo!“ dar nebuvo sukurtas. Jei ką, mes nebandome įkąsti - mes per daug dievinam šitą miestą, mes jį šloviname ir visiems todėl kišame, bet tokios jau MES esame...
Žinant ar bent bandant įsivaizduoti visą šio miesto istoriją (ohh XVII amžiau, ohh Sapiegos mieliausios), einant senamiesčiu nubėga šiurpuliukai. Nepersunktas, kamerinis miestas, daug barokinių bažnyčių, bet ir jos tokios lengvos - ne perdėtos, viskas taip dera, jokios neskoningos pompastikos, tik harmonija ir kažkas artimo minimalizmui.
Kas yra matę sovietinius filmus filmuotus Vilniuje? Taip faking tobula. Kalbant apie sovietmetį, socialistinis realizmas mūsų kartos žmonių tarpe jau pradėjo deformuotis ir vietoj neigimo ir slėpimo MES įrašome jį į istoriją.

WE are from Vilnius and so everything WE are writing here actually is everything that this, so called Vilnius has taught US. To be honest we worship this city way too much, we adore it and we promote it as much as we can, but this is who we are.
Every time one tries to imagine city’s history (ohh our beloved 17th century) shudder ran through the spin. Chamber city, with great variety of baroque churches, but even baroque buildings are so light and not overcrowded, you won’t found any tasteless pomp, just harmony and charm.
How many of you have seen those soviet movies filmed in Vilnius? They are just completely PERFECT! Talking about soviet times, socialist realism and it’s heritage for our generations is no more something we should deny or hide. WE are the ones who want to accept it as part of our history, part of who we are.
