Oh Yeah, Foxygen!

Zoe Sheena savo interviu su Foxygen pradeda žodžiais "Foxygen had me at "hello"". Na, mums su jais jokio hello ar bye-bye nebuvo, bet catchy frazė "I left my love in San Francisco" tikrai pričiupo.

Istorija kaip jie atsirado mūsų jukebox'e labai paprasta: reikėjo, kad kažkas papildytų playlist'ą su panašiu psychedelic jausmu, kurį turi Tame Impala. Sunku pasakyti, kokio plauko dėdėms ir tetoms gali skaniai susiklausyti Foxygen. Bet jeigu mėgsti 60s, psychedelic tunes, ne growl'ą, o lyrinį vyrišką dainavimą ir kaip kad ir mes ieškai kažko panašaus į MGMT ar Tame Impala (nes bijai, kad greitu metu nebegalėsi nei vienos jų dainos daugiau klausyti), then here you go

Not really, bet vistiek totally fresh, 2013 metų sausį išėjęs trečiasis albumas (žmonės kalba, kad treti albumai būna patys geriausi) ir labiausiai užkabinusios dainos.

* * *

Zoe Sheena begins her interview with Foxygen with the words ‘Foxygen had me at ‘hello’’. Well, we didn’t have with them any hello or bye-bye, but phrase ‘I left my love in San Francisco’ has caught us for sure.

The story of how they were added to our jukebox is pretty simple: we needed something to supplement our playlist with the same psychedelic feeling, which has come from Tame Impala. It is difficult to say what kind of people would find this music delicious, but if you like 60s, psychedelic tunes, not growl but lyric masculine singing, and if you are searching something that sounds like MGMT or Tame Impala (as you are afraid that soon you wouldn’t be able to listen to any of their songs) then here you go!

Well not really, but still it is completely fresh! In 2013 January was released their third album (and I heard people saying that third albums are usually the best ones) and the most catchy songs.

peace & love,
P.O. + A.M.
